3. Data collection when visiting our website

When you visit our website your browser automatically transmits information to our server. This includes

  • Our visited website
  • Date and time of the access
  • Original referrer website
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used

This information is processed anonymously and pursuant to GDPR Art. 6 (1)(f) on the basis of our legitimate interest in safeguarding the stability and functionality of our website. This information is deleted periodically.


4. Data collection when establishing contact

When establishing contact with us via the contact form or via email the data collected are solely used for the purpose of answering your matter of concern. The legal basis for this according to GDPR Art. 6 (1)(f) is our legitimate interest in answering your matter of concern. These data are then erased after settling your query provided that there are no legal retention obligations.


5. Data collection when registering to receive information and invitations to events by email

If you have expressly given your consent we use your data to send you information about our products and related issues by email or to invite you to events. The legal basis for is GDPR Art. 6 (1)(a). Our processing continues for as long as we have your consent. You may revoke your consent at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the end of the email or by sending an email to the controller referred to above.


6. Cookies

We use cookies in our website. These are small text files stored on your device when you visit our site. Some cookies used by us are deleted again when you close your browser. Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website. If cookies are set, they collect and process specific user information on an individual basis such as user and location data and IP address values. You can prevent the setting of cookies in your web browser settings or delete any cookies already set. If you do prevent the setting of cookies in some cases not all functions of our website will be usable.


7. Web analysis services

On the basis of our legitimate interest in the analysis and optimization of our website within the meaning of GDPR Art. 6 (1)(f) we use the Google Analytics web analysis service from Google LLC (“Google”). Cookies are used here. The information generated by the cookie about the usage of our website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there.

Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports about activities within our online service provision and to provide us with further services associated with the use of this online service provision. In this process user profiles with pseudonyms can be compiled from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP-anonymization. This means IP addresses of users are truncated by Google within the Member-States of the European Union or in other signatory states to the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

The IP address transmitted by the browser of the user is not merged with other data held by Google.

Data sent by us or linked with cookies, user-IDs or advert-IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months.

Users can prevent cookies being stored by implementing a corresponding setting on their browser. However, in some cases not all functions of our website will be usable. Users can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website for Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on available at the following link:

Right of access pursuant to GDPR Art. 15


You have the right to obtain a confirmation from us as to whether or not we are processing personal data concerning you. Where that is the case, you have a right of access to these data and to the following information: the purposes of the processing; the categories of the data; the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed; where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored or the criteria used to determine that period; the existence of a right of rectification, erasure, limitation of processing or objection; the existence of a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the origin of your data if these were not collected from you by us; and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and if applicable meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for you.

Right to rectification pursuant to GDPR Art. 16

You have a right to the immediate rectification of incorrect personal data concerning you and/or to the completion of incomplete data stored by us.

Right to erasure pursuant to GDPR Art. 17

You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data if the pre-requisites of GDPR Art. 17 (1) exist. However, this right does in particular not exist where processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for purposes in the public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Right to limitation of processing pursuant to GDPR Art. 18

You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data, for as long as the data contested by you is being verified, if you oppose an erasure of your data due to unlawful data processing and request the restriction of processing of their use instead, if you require your data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, after we no longer need these data to achieve the purpose or if you object due to grounds arising from your particular situation pending verification whether our legitimate grounds are overriding.

Right to data portability pursuant to GDPR Art. 20

You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted, where technically feasible, to another controller.

Right to lodge a complaint pursuant to GDPR Art. 77

If you are of the opinion the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

Right to object pursuant to GDPR Art. 21

To the extent that we are processing your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with GDPR Art. 6 (1)(f), you have the right, pursuant to GDPR Art. 21, to object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation or if your objection is related to direct marketing. In the latter case you have a general right to object which is implemented without us stating a specific situation.
