Improved ergonomics and worker assistance: Broetje-Automation UK introduces the Lift-E-50 mobile manipulator system

Broetje-Automation UK has introduced the Lift-E-50, a new addition to the Broetje-Automation portfolio of ergonomic operational toolings. This highly flexible, mobile manipulator can handle loads of up to 50 kilograms in workshop environments.
In a particular customer project, it was necessary to lift heavy workpieces and position them with great precision in a confined and challenging environment. The technical conditions on site did not allow a solution with existing systems on the market. The project team at Broetje-Automation UK developed the idea of a mobile and highly flexible manipulator that not only assists with the lifting of workpieces but also can be easily deployed exactly where it is needed. The concept was then developed further and brought to product maturity. The result is the Lift-E-50, an ergonomic and mobile handling system for loads of up to 50 kilograms.
