Broetje-Automation GmbH had the opportunity to actively take part and include our perspective, learnings and outlook towards our path to net zero. Anja Ehrenborg, Vice President for Sustainability and Total Quality Management discussed current and future opportunities that come with the increasing importance to integrate sustainability into corporate strategies. Together with Viessmann and Telekom AG the discussion focused on the changing responsibility of companies to foster social, economic and ecologic development.

Key learnings from the discussion:

• Action over words: Include sustainability into the company strategy and structure. Communicate and create awareness for all employees – and keep on doing so.
• Transparent data management: Ensure steps towards an efficient data management in the context of the CSRD requirements which become relevant for Breotje-Automation in financial reporting year 2025. Regulation as a result within the sustainability efforts of the company.
• Strength lies in the network: Cross-company cooperation as additional key. We will be faster in enabling our customers´ sustainability performance with sector wide-cooperation and communication.
