The future at your fingertips – Broetje-Automation opens its doors to young talents at Training Day

Content

With the “Broetje-Automation Training Day”, Broetje-Automation GmbH sent out a strong signal against the shortage of skilled workers and at the same time gave young people a practical insight into the world of work. At a time when orientation and direct encounters are more important than ever, the event offered pupils, parents and teachers the opportunity to experience training occupations up close, talk to trainees and discover potential career paths. The day was all about promoting young talent – practical, interactive and future-oriented.

Training Day: A strong signal for the skilled workers of tomorrow

The idea of organizing a “Training Day” was born at Broetje-Automation with the clear aim of actively counteracting demographic change and the increasing shortage of skilled workers. In order to get young people interested in technical professions at an early stage and to present the company as an attractive employer, a platform was created to provide direct insights into everyday life at the company. The event was not only intended to provide information about training paths, but also to help break down inhibitions and promote personal encounters between young people and potential training companies.

Many pupils often don’t know which professions exist and what is behind certain training titles. This is exactly where the Training Day came in: With interactive offers, exciting insights into everyday working life and discussions at eye level, the participants received valuable guidance. Interested young people were not only able to get to know the various professional fields at Broetje-Automation, but also exchange ideas directly with trainees and trainers – in an informal and practical way.

Metal and Electrical Truck

An additional highlight was the visit by the IG Metall metal and electrical truck. This complemented the on-site offer with practice-oriented workshop stations that made topics such as electronics, IT and mechanics tangible. The aim was to arouse interest in technology and show young people how varied and exciting modern apprenticeships can be.

The event also helped to strengthen the regional economy: Those who stay in the region and start an apprenticeship contribute to local economic stability in the long term.
