Torque Systems

Automated Bolt Tensioning

These systems are specifically designed to ensure accurate and consistent torque application during the assembly of wind turbines, where secure fastening is vital to withstand the harsh environmental conditions and high mechanical stress turbines face. By automating the torque process, Broetje-Automation enhances productivity with decreasing torque cycle times drastically while providing a flexible solution with interchangeable options. Thus ensuring long-term reliability of the turbine structures, making them an essential tool for the renewable energy sector.

Rotary Torque System

The Rotary Torque System is an automated bolt tightening solution for wind power plant assembly, ensuring high precision and flexibility through a multi-step process and variable force application. With sensor-referenced control and simultaneous tightening at two parallel positions, it doubles the efficiency compared to standard methods.

Stator Torque System

The Stator Torque System is a specialized automated bolting solution designed for fastening large bolts in the stator section of wind turbines, delivering high precision and efficiency. With torque capacities up to 2200 Nm and the integration of the proprietary SCALE sensor system, it ensures smooth, accurate, and fully automated tightening for faster assembly.

Project Snowflake

Mounted on an Agile Mobile Vehicle (AGV) this bolt tensioning system offers maximum flexibility on the shopfloor. Bringing the automated process to every station in your assembly.
