Broetje-Automation specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced automated systems for fiber placement. The robotic and continuous process applications give maximum support for the production that our customers require.
While we are able to insert our knowledge into single robotic systems, our continuous composite solution offers a more complex and all-in-one solution containing multiple process steps in the manufacturing of large composite parts. Regardless which solution serves the customers’ needs various cfk materials such as dry fiber, pre preg as well as thermoplastic or duoplastic materials are applicable for the process.
For the factory of the future the automated fiber placement process enables the production of various shapes and purposes that would be difficult or impossible to achieve using traditional manufacturing methods. The accuracy and repeatability of the automated process ensures consistent quality and reduced material waste. At Broetje-Automation we are able to provide multiple production scenarios from single-tow applications to using 16 tows at a time. Enabling more flexibility and process control with sensoric heating and laser units if necessary for the material. This presents the opportunity of fast production and precise workpiece adaption for gentle and sustainable processing.
Compact and flexible production in a box. This system combines all the necessary components for a compact and space saving serial production with high layup rates for 2D parts.
This system provides you with the technology to produce complex 3D composite parts. The production in a box is not only flexible but time and cost-efficient.
A customizable robotic system to create complex structures and stiffening inlays. This single tow AFP system combines several processes in one robot.
Ready for industrial production. The STAXX Flex is a large fiber placement system for various materials and sizes of parts.
Orlando, September 2025 – Broetje-Automation draws an entirely positive conclusion from this year’s CAMX in Orlando. The international industry meeting point for composite materials once again provided the company with an excellent platform to showcase its innovative solutions for automated manufacturing.
The Broetje-Automation Group is strengthening its position as a leading provider of advanced manufacturing technologies for high-performance composites. At this year’s CAMX Composites and Advanced Materials Expo in Orlando, Florida, the company will showcase its latest innovations for improving the efficiency, quality, and throughput of multiple processes. The company’s cutting-edge solutions in automated drilling, fibre placement, sealing and factory integration respond to the increasing demand from industrial sectors such as aerospace and renewable energy for the efficient production of lightweight, multifunctional structures.
