Regardless which solution serves the customers’ needs various cfk materials such as dry fiber, pre preg as well as thermoplastic or duoplastic materials are applicable for the process.
For the factory of the future the automated fiber placement process enables the production of various shapes and purposes that would be difficult or impossible to achieve using traditional manufacturing methods. The accuracy and repeatability of the automated process ensures consistent quality and reduced material waste. At Broetje-Automation we are able to provide multiple production scenarios from single-tow applications to using 16 tows at a time. Enabling more flexibility and process control with sensoric heating and laser units if necessary for the material. This presents the opportunity of fast production and precise workpiece adaption for gentle and sustainable processing.
